Finally got things settled. BUT i still forgot to bring something.. bah..
Good byes are sad but new adventures are always exciting, and since this one comes with dreams of a beautiful future. Why not?! My sweet M gave me the nicest gift ever, and wrote me something that said, " my love will be with you wherever you go.." Awww... blue box made my heart melt...
And my GM texted me.. " Dont be sad.. its gonna be very exciting. A whole new adventure, but be prepared that it comes with alot of work"
I will miss everyone and everything in sg...

| Hello!!! back from the land of good food.. great shopping... and fabulous beautiful people....
I'll be posting up photos in awhile..but in summary it was Amazing!
M and me were eating and shopping and yakking away bout the gorgeous pple for the whole trip.. ( Ok whining about our legs being in pain too)
ANYHOW.. be starting work in dubai ( The land of ostentatious overload ) 15th Nov.. so yes will be relocating to dubai then.. for the next 20 mths.. sounds like a long time. BUT with the ginormous amount of work..it might just fly past me before i know it..
so anyone dropping by enroute to europe or whatever.. please let me know... and visit....
Been packing up my stuff for dubai, gets more and more.. now with the loot from tokyo.. its madness! Oh well.. I should hold a mini garage sale..to get rid of my junk... Never knew it was so hard.. Good thing is.. I am planning a paris 2010.. some time in 1st or 2nd quarter next year.... omg... chanel / prada/ hermes/ laduree..... you name it!
Things to do before i leave:
- stick to my a pork a day schedule ( haha )
- Meet up with all the long lost friends
- Buy random stuff like hangers/larger luggage/ decent sized handcarry
- Pass stuff to M for keeping
- Get my phone lines ( and 3rd phone ) settled
- Get my international account settled
- Get IDL settled
- Service my MacBook make sure its in tiptop shape ( steal daddy's wireless mouse / SD card reader / leather carrier etc. )
- say goodbye to everyone
- Throw one helluva farewell party ( Decide on guest list for this )

Yup very excited... EXTREMELY.. absolutely.......
Anyway update no. 1.. im going to tokyo for my .. (not quite) year end.. Holiday this year.. oh well i don't know what are the plans after so i might as well take a break first!
THE reservation at Beige Tokyo.. how could i miss that.. I am coco chanel's fan no. 123284574985739857!! i got to visit the place.. waiters wearing uniforms designed by karl L. and tweed chairs... too good to be true... maybe buy a lil something from the 9 floors of CC madness below the restaurant...
Ok Update no. 2... dream come true ( ok extra thing to throw into the luggage!! )
I seriously love the boss sometimes.. haha.. This job is so not devil wears prada.. its SO much better...
As for what has been going on... working very hard ( too hard ).. shopping.. partying... drinking.. falling sick ( extremely).. new friends.. thinking abt M's gift this mth ( haha ).. trying very hard not to count down to tokyo every second!
Been super emo watching movies... cried watching UP.. cried watching the proposal.. cried watching time traveller's wife.. glad i wasn't the only one crying this time... haha..

| I havent been updating this very much, well mainly because I have been working my ass off in the office and of cos I have better things to do.. movies to watch... bags to buy.. food to eat.. etc..
Well anyway... I wanted to write today cos I am dumbfounded by someone's niceness to me. Well its not a huge deal.. but that cute little blue box really made my day....

| I miss shanghai.
Those days that i walked the streets in the cold after waking up at 1pm.
Late night dinners.. followed by alcoholic concotions at the quirky bars along quaint streets..
La Platane, yummilicious food, mini foie gras xiao long baos.
New heights, bottle of red with thick chocolate cake, made me fall in love with you over again :)
New place for brunch every weekend, lil japanese coffee houses, stupid pictures we take having coffee.
I'll go back there again with you. I think you miss it more than I do.
